ENUGU- Ahead of Saturday’s presidential election, Ohanaeze Ndigbo said it’s attention has been drawn to the alleged invasion of towns and villages in Igbo hinterlands of by innumerable soldiers.

Special Adviser to the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emeka Attamah said “Reports reaching us indicate that the supposed soldiers are clothed in Nigerian Army uniforms without name tags.

“The danger in the present circumstance is that no one is sure any longer as to the true identity of the people in army uniform and they can carry out nefarious activities without anybody being held responsible.”

Attama in a statement, Friday evening, called on the International community to observe the anomaly which he said was capable of derailing the nation’s democracy.
