A serial thief in the student community of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara ran out of luck when vigilantes on duty intercepted him and his loot after an operation.
The thief who identified himself simply as Aruoture had successfully robbed students off their laptops, phones and personal belongings when he ran into the vigilante members and was nabbed.

On questioning, the thief gave in to pressure and confessed to the crime which prompted the vigilantes to parade him after rearranging his face with severe beating.

As at press time, it was gathered that the severely beaten Aruoture has been handed over to the police for prosecution.
