Britain Gets 13% For All Nigeria Oil Sale – Nnamdi Kanu

Britain, Nigeria Oil, Nnamdi Kanu, and Biafra Restoration – Understanding why Britain supported Biafra Genocide

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has taken to his verified Facebook account to reveal that Britain as a nation is receiving 13 percent from every barrel every Nigeria oil sale. This certainly explained why the British government is doing all in its power to ensure that the Biafra nation does not emerge as a nation and Nigeria remains one. Nigeria is the creation of Britain has since its amalgamation in 1914 through to her 1960 independence and up until now has shown that it cannot progress as one nation owing to the incompatible value system.

This could come as a shock to many but it is no more hidden than the main intent of Britain in Nigeria and other colonies they colonized have always been based on their business interest. The historical record has proven that Britain has never developed any nation they colonize. Rather their main aim has always been to develop their country with the mineral resources laundered from those nations. The amalgamation of Nigeria as one entity in 1914 was solely for easier business administration on their colonial control territory. This intent is purely on business and that has never changed today.

Again, it will be worthy to note that the British government is yet to openly and whole condemn the current killing going on in Nigeria. The Boko Haram Terrorists and their sister organization Fulani Herdsmen, which can be seen to have the strong backing of Northern elites have been killing Christians in the northern part of Nigeria and this has not received the attention of Britain as they are yet to make any official statement as regards to the killing by terrorists.

Harold Wilson, Yakubu Gowon, and Biafra War

During the Biafra-Nigeria civil war in which economic blockade was used against Biafrans by Nigeria under General Yakubu Gowon, Britain played a very devilish role by supporting the genocide being carried out by Nigeria. A recent archived file has revealed that the then Prime Minister of Britain Harold Wilson said he will support Nigeria against the Biafrans if Nigeria will guarantee the safety of British (Oil) business interest in Biafra territory. This decision was made not minding the collateral damages it will bring on the side of the civilian population.

Nigeria having being guaranteed British support, the Nigerian government under General Yakubu Gowon without authorized the bombing of Biafra civilian high population concentration centers like schools, churches, markets, and hospitals in a bid to win the war and keep Nigeria as one. This they succeeded in achieving but not without shedding the blood of over 3 million civilians through direct military weapon attack and economic blockade. Having been assures of Britain’s diplomatic protection, Nigeria callously committed this genocide against the Biafra people having fulfilled the Business interest protection request of them by Britain.

In 2015 the British High Commissioner to Nigeria Paul Wright equivocally stated that whatever the case may be that Britain will always support one Nigeria and this they will do too because of the 13 percent they receive from every of Nigeria Oil off course. By implication, it means that the life and desires of those leaving in Nigeria do not matter to them. This tells of double standard owing to the fact that Britain has left the One European arrangement in respect to the desires of its citizens. This has clearly shown that Britain cares more about Oil in Nigeria than the suffering populace who are suffering because of Nigeria’s non-workability since amalgamation.

Understandably, this revelation by Nnamdi Kanu is coming as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which he leads tirelessly work to restore Biafra as an independent country as it was before the arrival of the British. This quest has received both local and international support, especially from youths who have faced the barrels of the gun of the Nigeria Military and Police. The majority of youths from Biafra territory which is the old Eastern Region is in support of Nnamdi Kanu as many have been killed extra-judicially and many currently being tortured in various secret cells of Nigeria security operatives. Some have been charged to court by the Police and owing to Nigeria’s slow justice system, have been dumped in police prisons across Nigeria why few have received acquittal from the court.

Conclusively, Britain is a major player in Nigeria owing to its Oil business interests is playing a big role in shielding the bad leaders who are bent on destroying the future of the majority population through corruption. Also, being the owners of Nigeria as the amalgamators gave them a very strong diplomatic authority in the diplomatic community whenever Nigeria’s case is brought up. This revelation has cleared the mind of many as at why Britain will continue to support evil in Nigeria.  It will be worthy of note that as they continue to receive 13 percent from every crude oil sale by Nigeria, the world poverty index has revealed that Nigeria has become the poverty capital of the world where future is bleak for the young population because of back to back bad governance bedeviling the country.
