Former Star Footballer, Kanu Nwankwo paid a courtesy visit to former Special Adviser to the State Governor on Arts and culture Mr. Paddy Obinna, who is an artist during the weekend.

Mr. Obinna in his usual good-humored way of making everyone feel so comfortable with him offers to take the great footballer on a tour around his studio.

The tour begins with his office which, in fact, is his personal art exhibition studio. They admire the nice painting works in the studio, where Sir Paddy comments that nature inspires him in Igbo Language.

“Nature is very inspiring. See the trees, the rivers and the wind. They have been here long before us. They understand the earth better than we do”.

Then he added that a bulk of his works were black and white paintings because both colours are natural. And what story does his work tell? “My works show you whatever you want to see”, he said.

They were accompanied while on tour by Sir Paddy Obinna’s second son Comrade Chiagozie Paddy Obinna, APC Flagbearer in Owerri North Constituency in the last House of Assembly Elections.
