Igbo Group Berates Miyetti Allah Over Plans To Float Security Outfit

A socio-cultural group, Igbo National Council (INC), has slammed the Bello Abdullahi -led Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, (MACBA), over plans to establish its security outfit across the country.

Recall that the National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Abdullahi had announced that his organisation has concluded arrangements to flag-off its own security outfit to be deployed across the country.

But, INC, in a statement signed by its President, Chilos Godsent and the Secretary-General, Zulu Ofoelu, and issued in Umuahia, on Monday, warned the Miyetti Allah Association to limit their operation only to the northwest area of Nigeria.

The Igbo group warned Miyeti Allah that no single tribe or ethnic group in Nigeria has a monopoly of violence against others.

According to the socio-cultural body, the fact that the Igbo race has chosen a peaceful approach to the call for self-determination in Nigeria should not be construed as a weakness.

The group warned that the territories of the Igbo nation in Nigeria remained a no-go-Area for any Jihadist terrorist organization that may want to embark on a terrorist expedition against Igbo Communities.

“We wish to advise Miyeti Allah not to sail on the River that will sink their boat and cause regret to them.

“We, therefore, enjoin the Igbo race in Nigeria to remain resolute and vigilant. The Igbo race has never been known to be cowards”.
