Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB took to his official Facebook page to react to the reports of gunshots at the Presidential Villa involving Nigeria’s First Lady, Dr. Aisha Buhari, members of her immediate family, her Aide-de-camp, Usman Shugaba and Sabiu Yusuf, a Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said that the gunshots were as a result of an alleged coup to overthrow the cloned president’s cabinet. He also pledges to speak more on the matter on his upcoming broadcast by 7pm GMT, Today.
