Nigerian Army Threaten Artiste For Song Against H'Right Abuse

Afro-Pop Artist Matthew Joshua Chukwubuikem better known as M-Josh recently released a song about the ills and human right violations being carried out by security forces in the society and the song titled ‘Movie In Aso Rock’ has been met with many reviews, both positive and negative.

Among the negative reviews, there were some security personnel who felt very affronted at the audacity of the song, and one of them who calls himself  Ninasco Airborne actually took to his Facebook messaging platform to threaten Mr. M-Josh for his song against the Nigerian security forces.

“M-Josh, you try for your music but you f..k up big time by calling us sombi. For that you must pay anytime I see you.”

They asked him to ask fellow Popular artiste Timaya about how they treated him when he made songs against the Nigerian Army.

“If you hate d evils, did you talk about Boko Haram, the way we do to Timaya, that is how we will do you, go and ask him”

Talking about how the Military personnel copied his personal contacts from his Facebook profile to continue the threats on Whatsapp, he said:

“He reached me on Facebook, asking why I was abusing the military in one of my songs, that I am going to pay for it whatever the time is.

“Later, I discovered that somebody added me on WhatsApp, my WhatsApp numbers are on Facebook because I produce music too despite the fact that I sing so sometimes my client need my contact.

The young artiste begged the Nigerian Government and other security leaders to look into this case of intimidation and threat to his life by one of their officers.

He also asked for reformation in the security sector to prevent more abuse to Nigerian human rights.
