Over the weekend the two Special Advisers to Imo State Governor instead of packing up for the weekend like young people do, they rather continued to carry out Government duties.
At a new grand-hotel being built along Glass House Orji Road known as Royal Billion, Hon. Cllr Celia Osakwe-Hibbert (SA DIASPORA) and Bobby Michaels (SA ENTERTAINMENT) were officially being shown the entertainment facilities by the owner of the new hotel himself, Mr Chimaroke Oparaugo a young Diasporan whom again has come home to invest in Imo State.
Currently, Hotels remain the highest employer of labour in the state apart from Government and this is why the current Government is using all its marshalls to ensure this industry is finally given the due attention that it deserves!
Speaking to the press during the visitation, SA Diaspora commended the audacity of the Imo Diasporan, she went on to say “Chimaroke this hotel is very child friendly and in a true Diasporan spirit you’ve also made provision for disability access, I really commend you and especially thank you for that”. Also speaking to one of our reporters was Bobby Michaels who stated that “the performance stage is huge, I look forward to appreciating some home grown talents who will perform on this stage. We will, for the first time give them Government platform and ensure their talents are harnessed properly”.
The meeting ended optimistically as the pair of the Government Officials headed straight to another meeting, this time with the Comissioner for Police.
