#EndSARS: Bishops Hail Nigeria Youths, Blame PoliticiansGeneral Overseer of Christ Royal Family International Church, Dr. Tom Samson

Just as government arrest, harassment, and intimidation of people who are seen to be the promoters of #EndSARS promoters the General Overseer of Christ Royal Family International Church, Dr. Tom Samson, has said Nigerian leaders, especially political leaders, are to blame for the woes that have bedeviled the country, including the dwindling state of the economy, stunted development, and poverty report say.

In a statement by the cleric on Tuesday at the church conferences, Samson said,

‘Political class has destroyed this nation; the destiny of the nation has been mortgaged to a certain group of people. We have intelligent people in this country but, they won’t be allowed to attain the position of power to change the narrative of this nation for good.’

The bishop commended the youth for the protests against SARS in the country, adding, ‘The principal purpose of the protest has been achieved.’

The statement added that the conference which commences on December 9 to will be used to mark the 55th birthday of the bishop.
Samson, who called on the government to wake up and provide a future for the youth through provision of gainful employment, enjoined the youth to imbibe the virtue of patience and endurance.

The Nigeria government through CBN not only froze the account of the said promoters, they also went ahead #EndSARS protest a terrorist group. This has been generally condemned by Nigerians of all strata.
