A pastor of Christ Embassy Ministries in Harare, Zimbabwe has been arrested by the police for holding a Sunday service with members who haven’t taken COVID-19 vaccines.
Africa Today News, New York reports that the unnamed Christ Embassy pastor was reportedly fine $2,000.
National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident and said the pastor from Glen View high-density residential area was fined $2 000.

Africa Today News, New York reports that the nation’s cabinet approved last Wednesday that churches could resume service but with congregation that have already been vaccinated.
The cabinet also specified that people must observe the COVID-19 protocols to the letter, but declined to give specified number of people that should be in church.
Some other members of the church are also said to be helping the police with investigations.
