Stop Irritating Nigerians – PDP Blasts BuhariPresident Muhammadu Buhari

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday, lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari accusing him of irritating Nigerians with false performance claims.

In a series of tweets, the major opposition party described the action of Buhari’s administration as embarrassing.

The tweets which were monitored by Africa Today News, New York read: ‘@OfficialPDPNig charges President @MBuhari and the @OfficialAPCNg to respect the office of the President and stop irritating Nigerians with false performance claims.

‘The @OfficialPDPNig describes as embarrassing, the resort by the @MBuhari administration to media hyping of non-existent projects and programs in the face of manifest stagnation and failure in all sectors of national life.’

PDP lamented that Buhari is projecting non-existing projects as his achievement while Nigerians groan under collapse of infrastructure, inflation, insecurity among others.

‘Is it not strange that with the near-total collapse of infrastructure, deteriorated economy, skyrocketing inflation, high cost of food, inexcusable high mortality rate, an abysmally low purchasing power, high spate of insecurity and a lack of direction in the country, President @MBuhari is busy parading non-existent projects as achievements?,’ PDP said.

Many Nigerians have in the recent past accused the opposition party as lukewarm and not doing its best to provide credible opposition to the ruling party which took power in 2015.
