Police in Sudan have fired teargas to disperse supporters of the Sudanese military who had gathered for the third consecutive day of protests in the capital, Khartoum.
The protests in support of soldiers in the crisis-filled African country has continued to heighten tension in and around the State capital.
Africa Today News, New York gathered that the protesters are calling for the transitional government to be replaced by the military, which they say will be better at dealing with the political and economic crisis.

Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok held an emergency cabinet meeting, describing the unrest as the most dangerous crisis since the overthrow two years ago of long-serving President Omar al-Bashir.
Critics say the protests are being organised by the security forces who want to disrupt the transition to civilian rule.
It is yet to be ascertained if there were any casualties following the forceful dispersal.
The protesters have vowed not to relent in their actions until the Government gives them listening ears.
