The Nigerian Army has hit back at Amnesty International office in Nigeria of destabilization plot and ordered for its immediate closure in the country. This comes just a day after the rights group released a report on the killing of nearly 4.000 people in the Nigeria’s farmer-herders violence and blamed the government of the failure to punish the perpetrators.

The Army public relations director Brigadier Gen. Sani Usman said Amnesty is fabricating fictitious allegations of alleged human rights abuses.

The sack comes at the heel of the Nigerian Army shutting down the activities of UNICEF in the terror ravaged Northeast.

It seems the Nigerian military is exercising more power than the Buhari led APC government and the courts, as they have sacked two international organizations in just one week, though they backtracked on UNICEF.
